A good idea is to put some of the stuff in the fabric of a shirt, if you look on the website it says they will be able to, then you can charge the phone while it is in your pocket (the cord could be annoying at times thou)
@joemark200 I think it will improve the battery life as long as it is in light OR the screen is on, if you watch when he covers the screen it sill draws power from the screen itself (if it collects 10% of light, in total darkness while the screen is on, it may get ~5% back, depending on how much power it needs for non-lighting)
$1 for this? i love it!
I like the funny accent.
“The film itself will be less than 100 micro” “That’s great”
LOL – sounds so much like an ad.
so simple yet so smart.
just think about a house with this technology in windows
or electric car , laptop , ipad 3 , iphone 5 … cool !
nice to put a voice to the face Spoon! love the magazine BTW!

future has come!
perpetuum mobile – solas screen charges its’ own battery
LOL
if this continually charging thus it affect the battery life? is there a problem like it expanding the battery?
the guy holding the phone has awfully dirty nails. clean up man!
Truth is on 1:33 =)
2.7 becomes 1.92
This is good for power (somewhat), even at night, as it will draw some energy from the light of the device itself!
This on a nook would enable people to never EVER have to use a charger.
@janisonjunio I just tried to be sarcastic. This is obviously a brilliant idea!
Nice!
@zab666 Guys come on, this is a extra option not only a source.
@supakorean12345 If you like me have a second sun in my bag, it loads just fine.
What happens when you keep it in your pocket or in your bag for extended periods of time?
