@jonjoninu The best place to find out about becoming a Michigan Conservation Officer is on the state DNR website: Go to michigan[dot]gov and search for “How to Become a Conservation Officer.”

Not really. It depends, like if you want to be an agent you can’t have any body marks that others can point you out within a crowd. I asked this question to one of my cousins who is in the military.

All departments have there own tattoo policy, Ive seen officer’s with sleeves. However alot of agencys do not want visible tattoo’s when in uniform.

However if your tattoo’s are vulgar, offensive in any way and visible in uniform forget it..

Hi xHannavas. Citizenship is required in Michigan (the state where WCC is located). You would need to check with each individual state to learn their specific qualification requirements.

Thank you for your interest in the School of Criminal Justice and Law Enforcement at Washtenaw Community College. Our law enforcement programs will train you to pass local law enforcement exams if you want to become a police officer or give you a great foundation to transfer to a four-year institution where you can earn a degree in criminal justice. With that degree there are several avenues you can pursue.
