In July, the Phoenix Police Department from six to eight districts. This month, the Ministry has proposed a limited area. To change the border, about every five years, the staff of many factors, the analysis, such as reaction time, population growth, the safety officer and expense of pedestrians.

The news, combined with the latest changes in the borders of 2003, two counties in northeastern and south-western districts of the city.

Draft of the area was driven by cable from the desert horizon. Sandra Renteria decrease from approximately 145 square miles, more than in the city of Atlanta, on 74 square miles. The smaller area, less travel time between the officers on the street and his cabinet, and a fast response time for residents.

While in each zone, three teams five hits. Early next year, the five areas, Desert Horizon Park cactus, Squaw Peak, South Mountain and Maryvale increase staff working in four teams with four shots, the patrol interaction with the community and improve the ratio of employees’ manager.

Highway

In drafting the proposed limits, an attempt to analyze the crime and the research unit to monitor natural and artificial obstacles. For example, Desert Horizon Precinct to the south of Pima Road east of 19th Avenue, north of Bethany Home Road and west of Highway Piestewa.

Colors on the map

In Sunnyslope community meeting last week, Sgt. Kevin Watts reminded residents not to change the border town’s pedestrian district council boundaries, district boundaries and identity. Limits Precinct display colors on the map.

“What we should be happy that we do not want two fields in the substation Squeeze again,” says Jonathan Watts.

CACTUS PARK MOVES

The district headquarters will move a few miles northeast to the new facility, 2221 W. Greenway Road, former home of the Arizona Game and Fish Department.

Sunnyslope residents their opinion

Question: Why do you limit the presentation of the proposed pedestrian?

“I wanted to make sure that there was a team that has worked in (Sunnyslope) position in the region, I do. The fear that agents will not work in Sunnyslope, they will respond to calls outside the area.”

- Christine Plante.

“If you’re in the community and really love you see something you do not want you to participate live. I think it went well. They are our doubts. They explained everything well and they have had ample opportunity. Speak ”

- April Jones

“I was curious to see what new horizons. I do not want to take our staff community. They know that our community.”

- Roger Quaing

“I am concerned about the borders, but it looks like a desert horizon (pedestrian zone), a smaller area to clean. I am very concerned at Sunnyslope. Who else is involved have the beauty of the North outside of their doors and windows that I keep my unit is safe.”
