I like the idea, but it stomps all over the premise of the original _and_ the remake. In those, the planet of the apes came about when the research station got pulled through time to a prehistoric time on earth. The “rise” of the planet of the apes happened when man was still evolving; and it happened concurrently, springing from a small number of genetically enhanced chimps and/or apes inter-breeding with the existing apes on the planet. This is a shameless money grab, nothing creative here.

The apes look so real the graphics are perfect and it has a great plot
One thing the Planet of the Ape franchise is good at, is to consistently make their apes look fake.
