President Obama Calls for Compromise on Budget to Avoid Government Shutdown

On Wednesday, President Barack Obama took some time out from his energy speech at the Gamesa Technology Corp., a wind-energy technology factory in Pennsylvania, to address the potential government shutdown. He urged compromise from both parties to agree on a budget and avoid a standstill that would shut down the government on Friday.
