Kansas City, MO (AP) – Arizona Diamondbacks Brandon Webb ACE was a success Thursday and flew to Phoenix, to his patient’s shoulder examined again.
Webb, 22-game winner last year, only one start this season before being placed on the disabled list April 13 with a nice shoulder.
His shoulder was interrupted Thursday while playing catch on a flat floor. Webb had to throw bullpen session Friday in Seattle, but was canceled.
“He is sick,” Diamondbacks manager AJ Hinche, said after the 12-5 victory over Kansas City. “He is back in Phoenix, which will be judged. He was not feeling very well today. This is a bad sign for us. We were so positive when he was in his rehabilitation, we need to additional testing to see our doctors and re-evaluated.”
Webb is not less than 14 games the past four seasons.
