Phoenix News: Parents Find Son Shot Dead In Home Phoenix

A man and his wife were shot dead in her bedroom of her adult son from the TV when he heard gunshots.

Mario Corona Jr., 21, was with a friend in another room in the house at the eastern bloc in 2200, Amelia Avenue, when he heard two gunshots around midnight Sunday, said James Holmes of Phoenix police.

When Mario Jr. entered the room, he found his mother and his father, Mario Sr. and Patricia Corona, was lying on the bed with gunshot wounds to the head injury. And the hand gun was nearby.

Phoenix Fire paramedics pronounced Mario Elder, 52, dead in his apartment. Patricia, 44, was taken to hospital and later died, said Holmes.

The police are not one family and not say what they think fired the shots.
