Phoenix News: Bus, light rail trains collided in central Phoenix

In the valley metro bus collided with U-Bahn S-Bahn trains Thursday morning in downtown Phoenix.

The incident occurred at Washington Street and First Avenue. Eight people were in hospital for precautionary reasons, after the collision, but no serious injuries reported.

Train-bus incident led to the closure of certain roads at rush hour Thursday morning the city.

Ktari 620 AM reported the bus can not fully stop at a red light when in Washington, to the west, while the metro south on First Avenue. S-Bahn trains began in December.
