I think the US-liberal position is actually more pro-israeli than the supposed pro-israeli movements. Its AIPAC vs J Street. And i would say J street is objectively middle of the road, while AIPAC is clearly hard right Zionism.
One side doesnt even recognize the current occupation and blockade of Palestine and solely focuses on crimes committed by occupied palestinians. Those are serious crimes as well, but to treat the sides equally is ridiculous. Israel is a US backed occupier…fact.
