Ngilu defends Mombasa Republicans
www.ntv.co.ke Water Minister Charity Ngilu has broken ranks with the government position and come to the defence of the Mombasa Republican Council. She says the government should not harass members of the outlawed secessionist group but should instead address the issues they are raising.

@kenyabora She actually have a very strong point here. Coast province is ranked most poor province yet GOK makes a lot of money from Coast region via Tourism and port operations. The only thing that Mombasa residents want is a share of the cookies, can that be too bad??
Wrong Ngilu the port was never the issue.Its the treaty with another foreign master on ownership of kenyan land.Back then the port was almost nothing & GK has been investing over the years in new cranes,dredging,new ferries & Nyali bridge.

Ngilu is throwing her hat in the ring for 2012. But she doesnt know michuki (and golf co) who described her as an akamba dancer, by making uhuru statemnent in kiaterere gave keguoya away. There will be no election in 2012 – keguoya has already bought a new vest in preparation !! Onyango is in the plan as well – seeing how he dissed the bullfighters – he doesnt need a goli in his team anymore !!
Ngilu might have done this because some in the govt are not happy the way some govt cooperates are run or sold off to a few people….you could say on tribal bases but she left out the most important and dangerous part of that religious/racial and a terrorist group…even gangsters do come out with reasons why they rob people by force…one of them being they want a share to feed themselves and their family….tread carefully mama…you should have come out too in support of saboat and munkigi
