yes, i bet the 2012 elections are still more of the same but after that hopefully there is a political revoulition where we get a new better goverment on both sides
There could be major change if progressives refuse to support Obama as the “lesser of two evils”. As long as people continue to vote this way, the two major parties will continue to take many, many people for granted. Hopefully, the teabaggers will continue to take-away strength from the republicans to the point that a real progressive could find an opening to make a credible challenge.

I hope awareness is as widespread as he says it is. In my area you’re not likely to find somebody who knows about the issues surrounding Wikileaks. If you are lucky enough to come across somebody willing to talk about it or heard a little about it, they think you’re nuts for believing that our government could be anything but good and call you a conspiracy nut. They even make excuses for the government doing certain things. I hope this guy is right that REAL change is coming. We need it.
Change began when Bush stole the presidential election. 9/11 mobilized public opinion/emotion. The illegal and immoral wars, the Patriot Act, the torture stirred up the discontent that had been growing for a while. Obama’s campaign and election was just the breaking point for all the turmoil building up for at least the last 8 years. Also, you could take it back further and point out the militant movement and paranoia of the 1990s when also Fox News was coming into power.
i think he raises a good question . Public awareness seems to be growing around the areas he mentioned . Though his guest clearly didnt agree . This interview didn’t get going at all.
Another “big mike” that pontificates that the sky is falling. Contrary to what Packman says, most people don’t even know what wikileaks is. There is only overwhelming support for wikileaks if one has their head in the sand.
So, we can finally see a truly revolt from the liberal and Progressive cause?
