@thePWNranger My husband had blood tests last fall and they found Hep C antibodies or antigens. He has other problems from an accident and is disabbled. His GP wants me to have him anayzed by specialists, but I am hesitant. I don’t see any benefit. I am caring for him and his brain injury and diabetes type 2. Also his meds regarding his heart condition. HepC treatment (if his is active) is long and painful. I don’t think I could take on that responsibility too.
@macpduff i have hep c. i’m not going to die any time soon. whats the reason to not be cheery? if you dwell on the fact that you have something and are depressed all the time that would only make your demeanor and health dwindle. live life to the fullest
@macpduff uhh my mom has hep c.im curing her with mms1. and type 2 diabetes is a joke. put him on a raw food diet for 3 weeks and his glycemic index will balance out. and if ur givin him or buying a whole bunch of sugar free products with aspartame ur basically killin him.wake up. virus is a joke.and type 2 diabetes is a joke.

okay, i kissed a girl who said that her ant has Hep C, she said she thinks she used one of her razors & cut herself. 2 days ago i kissed her… I dont think i have any cuts or anything in my mouth but i bite my lips… Should i get checked out ?

i have this and i beat it once and now its back. i will beat this again. the side effects are harder and more of them but i will beat this
i found out dec 29th that ive had hep c for appx two years. the best way to supress it is to be healthy.my brother, best friend and i found out w/in a month of eachother.i think that us living together and using the same razors to shave is how it was spread. the stigma that omly junkies or ‘sluts’ (m/f) contract it is something that makes this harder for me to deal with it. peolpe NEED to be more educated about this virus and ways to contract it. BE CAREFUL AND LIVE HEALTHY AND SAFE PEOPLES!!

you need to not do drugs so you don’t have to worry about boiling needles – boiling needles is not a 100% guarantee that you are cleaning them effectively. Plus, your doing damage to your body from the drugs alone ON TOP OF all the other diseases you can contract.
@cnutofcnuts unless you were licking up bloody shit, piss, or vomit, then that is NOT how you would contract it. Why would you be specifically scared you got Hepatitis C and not a bundle of other diseases? Read up on your facts before making stupid statements. You get Hepatitis C from blood to blood contact. Sounds like you probably should be getting tested for a bunch of stuff anyways, so do yourself that favor.

Hepatitis C is only contracted through blood. I have had it since I was born. I have been with my boyfriend for almost 4 years and he has NOT contracted it – we kiss all the time. I was with my ex-boyfriend for 5 years and he NEVER contracted it. You mentioned that you bite your lips and therefore may have had an open cut in your mouth when you kissed this girl – keep in mind that the girl you kissed would have also had to have an open cut in HER mouth when you kissed.
@macpduff – I have Hepatitis C and have never had any symptoms – as the Doc said above that many ppl don’t have symptoms. I only knew through a blood test. I feel great everyday, so I am “cheery” all the time – why not be? You must not have heard the point where he said he felt fine until recently. And even then he was only fatigued. Having Hepatitis C does not necessarily mean that you feel like shit, hence the point that most people don’t even know they have it.
