@MidweekPolitics Also Beck talks specifically about people who spend too much time on stuff and not enough on family, or just carry around a lot of stuff that they don’t use. In the US we have the RIGHT to bear arms, not once does beck say to horde your guns but simply understand that you have a right to own one. Mind you Obama said, during his first months in office, that the unemployment would be higher than 8% once the stimulus went out, it is now 9.8% and things don’t look any better
@MidweekPolitics He was right about the US economic drop, the failure of the bailouts and stimulus, about the gold, about the riots and violence in Europe and their economic problems before any of the “specialists”and with US govt “digitizing” their treasury bonds inflation looks like it is going to get bad as well. Beck proposes to store food now so IF there is big inflation or if you lose your job you have food ready so you don’t have to worry for a while about food it is a prevetative step.
@MidweekPolitics some the stuff on that particular episode he was not allowed to the say the name of some of the products. He started talking about gold, if its right for you, about I think a year ago when gold was about $700 an ounce, now its is I think $1250 an ounce. So if you took Beck’s adivce you actually would have gained a lot. Beck talks about food storage, not any particular brand of storage components or materials though he does mention a few of his favorites like the cards.
Glenn Beck became a Mormon when he married his current wife. Mormons believe in having a 1 year supply of food staples on hand at any time. He keeps talking about the meaning of Christmas, but I do believe the Christ cautioned against worldly wealth as opposed to spiritual wealth. @BaronZombie 1. David bought the iPad and gave it away. We didn’t have any sponsor that we casually didn’t mention that we were receiving money from.
2. We never talk about sponsors and not say they are sponsors. We barely talk about sponsors at all.
3. All shows have sponsors; not all shows “must do this” to have financing. What is being done here is deceptive.

BTW: Beck’s career didn’t take off until he joined the Mormon organization….so the Mormons big dogs are really behind all this.
I like your show David, but you’re a bit of a hypocrite with these talking points. You do the same thing when you talk about your sponsors and rake people in with iPads. That’s a normal business model. Focus more on his insane fear mongering and less on the things every show must do to have financing.
These cat’s here are in their 20′s i’m guessing . There is a market for all this , no one is forcing anyone to buy anything . If Beck is right and something terrible happens i feel for them because they have bright futures they seem like great young men. If Beck is wrong they can know they were right about him and indeed i think Beck is overreaching with his ministry like approach combined with commercial enterprises. very good video here
