Did any of you catch the similarities between the introduction and Obama’s victory speech from 2008?
Obama:
If there is anyone out there who still doubts that America is a place where all things are possible; who still wonders if the dream of our founders is alive in our time; who still questions the power of our democracy, tonight is your answer.
In less than an hour, you will be launching the largest areal battle in the history of man kind. Not from tyranny, oppression, or persecution, but from annihilation. For our right to live, to exist. Should we win today, the 4th of July will no longer be known as an American holiday, but as the day when the world declared with one voice We will not go quietly into the night! We will not vanish without a fight! Were going to live on. Were going to survive. Today we celebrate our independance day!
@roryshirley It’s a good way for ordinary people to welcome the U.S. president. We play the American national anthem and display the American flag too, it’s called making him feel at home – not much of a host are you?
@chicawhappa The guy speaking (Enda) isn’t our president. He’s the Taoiseach or Prime Minister.
@roryshirley why are u watching this video if you are English… ?
Jaysus it was like a re-enactment of william wallace in braveheart
@roryshirley lol scottish, even worse.

If I could, I would make love to the Irish accent
Look, Enda Kenny copied word for word the first part of Obama’s speech in Chicago when he won the American presidential election:
