Brighton Chip Shop Goes Up In Flames (HD)
At about 15:20 today 21/04/2011 A small fire started in a fish and chip shop on Brighton beachfront. It slowly escalated into a very serious situation. We happened to be sitting next door at the pub as this all unfolded, leas than 1hr ago!
I think the main thing is that sammy and the boys got out without being harmed don’t you? instead of talking about the weather you insesative wankers! show some respect!
@ruskythegreat It looks like the work of an iPhone4. Did you see how many people were near by, not surprising that one of them had the tech to do this.
That poor bloke: one minute he thinks he’s saved his business and the next, the whole thing is alight. It’s really sad.

Oh wow. We were stuck up in the traffic jam at the top about 5.00, thought it was a fire drill as it was clear of smoke by then – immense queues. Poor guy, that chip shop was good!

Some people are dicks this is my cousins chipy and she has worked her arse off for fucking years to make it a success just for it to burn down it is tragic and those that are making light of the situation imagine if it was you and your livelyhood.

@TheElmotharius That’s a bit strong don’t you think? I don’t think anyone is having a laugh about it. It’s a really tragic thing that happened, but I think the guy filming has captured it well, given that it’s inevitable that people may want to watch what happened, and I think he was sensible saying that they should get back in case of explosions. My reaction was how tragic it was for the owners and their livelyhoods, so I think your strong language is a little unnecessary.
