Blade of the Immortal – Criminal
Manji visits a priest in order to confess his sins, namely killing his lord and 100 of his retainers, an act that earned him the moniker “Killer of 100.” The priest, who is actually a con artist, attempts to kill Manji by shooting him in the forehead, but Manji kills him and regenerates the wound. Manji returns to his home to find Yaobikuni, a nun who placed “sacred bloodworms” into Manji that make him immortal, and his sister Machi. That evening, Machi dreams of the time when Manji was forced to kill her husband, a police officer pursuing Manji, causing her to lose her mind. After the dream, she wanders into the night and is captured by a group of ronin led by the brother of the priest Manji had killed. Manji pursues Machi but is unable to prevent her from being killed. In response, he kills every member of the ronin group, and upon returning to Yaobikuni, declares that he will seek redemption for the 100 men he killed by killing 1000 evil men. A few times during this episode we see Rin praying at her father’s grave, as she swears to take revenge on Anotsu.

@souske25 – That ‘Swastika’ is not the Swastika used by the Nazis. What Manji is wearing is actually the better version – (counter-clockwise) Crux Gemmata I think is what it’s called. It’s actually for goodluck.

Yeah I don’t watch this anime because to put it plainly, it is horrible. But that is my opinion, right? And I respect that you like it, it’s cool, I understand that. Not sure why you can’t understand that we dislike it. If you don’t like something say it, but tell the reasons why. And that is all we did.

What the hell, does that mean no one’s allowed to criticize? It’s the first episode, of course people are going to have things to say, and guess what? Not all of them are going to be positive. If you don’t like it, don’t read the comments, it’s as simple as that.

@EYE50MM i love to read but i also love to watch anime films, if u guys would rather only have ur graphic novels well i cant understand that, even if the actual manga is better. Let other people enjoy the things they enjoy, if u dont enjoy this version dont watch it, its simple as that…

@WujouMao I fully agree. It is too bad. They got it all wrong. Hope you catch up on the Manga. I’ve actually read all of them and I am awaiting the next chapter. If you can bare to keep watching the Anime, the voices keep getting worse.
