Yes, folks. IT’S FINALLY HERE! After over an ENTIRE YEAR OF WAITING, my very first special review is finally here! AKI Pro Wrestling 64 is an episodic special review that covers all the wrestling games on the Nintendo 64 that were developed by AKI Corporation (now Syn Sophia, Inc.) and published by Asmik (in Japan) and THQ (in the US). Some were based on World Championship Wrestling (WCW) (now defunct), some were based on the World Wrestling Federation (WWF) (now World Wrestling Entertainment [WWE]), and some were based on various Puroresu (Japanese wrestling) promotions. aki corporation actually worked on that def jam fight for ny game thats cool I guess they did make some kind of come back making a wrestling kind of game

@AllieRX87 U are a true wrestling fan I respect u completely for doing this. These are the best wrestling games of all time. Too bad i dont have world tour or the vpw series but i have wm2000 wcw/nwo revenge and no mercy

WCW VS THE WORLD/AKI PRO WRESTLING WAS THE NICEST GAME FOR IT’S TIME…IT HAD A HUGE ROSTER ON IT (WHICH INCLUDED INTERNATIONAL TALENTS FROM COMPANIES LIKE NJPW, AJPW, FMW, PANCRASE BUT WITH DIFFERENT NAMES DUE TO LICENSING), ALL THE HOTTEST MOVES FOR THAT TIME PERIOD (SSP, SENTONS, MOONSAULTS), A GOOD LOOK (3D POLYGON WAS RELATIVELY NEW WITH THE INTRO OF NEXT-GEN SYSTEMS LIKE PS1) AND IT HAD LONGEVITY AND REPLAYABILITY BECAUSE YOU COULD WIN BELTS FROM ALL THE COMPANIES ON THE GAME. SABU TOO!!!
