The Secret History of Law of Attraction Part 2: Early Accounts of the Law of Attraction by Darryl Thomas 27. November 2009 The functional form of prayer has as many divergent points as there are religions, and these points range anywhere from requesting some Divine blessing or boon, to gaining some intimate knowledge and understanding of the Nature and existence of God. Thus, Religion and Prayer are inseparable. Let us take a brief look at the major religions of the world and of their functional forms of prayer to see if there are any hints or signs of the Law of Attraction within them. Hinduism The Rig Veda is the principal book of hymns of Hinduism and thought to have been written some 3000 years ago, making the Veda the oldest religious text that is still used in the world today. The very first hymn of the Rig Veda is addressed to Agni, the Hindu Deity of Fire and acceptor of sacrifices. This Vedic hymn has its own the Law of Attraction saying: “Through Agni man obtaineth wealth, yes, plenty waxing day by day…” It is interesting to note that Ancient Hindu prayers and mantras also functioned as magical incantations extolling the virtues of the Gods, who are considered to possess irresistible magical powers that can be used to solicit Divine favors for the welfare of the person or the community. Buddhism In an uncanny foreshadowing of the Law of Attraction, the ancient Buddhists also insisted that if you believe in something with enough intensity, you will become what …

@MarlenVargasDelRazo ..debating by comment doens’t work it needs time and space..But anyone as i MUSLIM I don’t see any separation between the two religions in their orginal state.God dose minfast his message through messangers and jesus was one off them.thanks
wanagj> if christians’ and muslims’ commandments are the same, and ‘god knows what’s best for humanity’ / how come both religions are separated from each other and how come -god’s will hasn’t manifested equally in this world for all and supports the existence of separate cults to worship him to the extent of creating war against each other – is that what god sees as ‘best for all’ ? And you follow these rules?
if all people would live by the two simple ´principles´ – that: “what you sow you reap” and “love your neighbor as yourself” = we would all live together in harmony and we would need no god and no prayer
prayer is an indication of fear and powerlessness -
where is our SELF-responsibility?
muslims don’t pray for self interest we pray coz God commend us to pray coz he always knows what is best for humanity as u said and we obey he’s commands which is the same commands given to christains.
Thanks dude.
awesome,thanks!
thanks Darryl
very cool

you lost me on the part where you said a human sacrifice to releave a drout….. but yes worship and prayer is most important and you could say it is a form of attraction. -Muslim
@wanagj
Your freedom and choice is through conditioning. Conditioning that you cannot see because you believe it to be you.
@MarlanVargasDelRazon: Maybe I don’t understand the ” world “u talking about BUT what I know is I HAVE THE FREEDON of CHOICE to be who AM I and tha’t means separation but it doesn’t means unequality. trying to convince me BY force to YOUR way of thinking is NOT equality and freedom.period
wanagj: Paradox ‘Equality in Separation’ – and ‘that’s freedom of choice’??
Suiting logical judgments isn’t the same as talking Common Sense.
There is simply No Free Choice – if you can’t comprehend this, you don’t understand the world as the system you’re living within and as.
@MarlenVargasDelRazo : but I believe there is equality in separation and that’s freedom of choice. if there’s no separation there’s NO choice.
wanagj: I stand for Equality, there exists no separation in Equality – I have no life’style’ but only basic physical activities that all humans have/do. We do not need to force anyone, we simply point out the obvious that is often missed by humans that are blinded by knowledge and beliefs and missing what’s real as ourselves here.
There is no choice within seeing what we already are.
@MarlenVargasDelRazo : yes Im separate with my religion as same U separate from anyone in your lifestyle we are all different and my religion is my lifestyle..do I need to force others to live like me ! NO ..I can only tell them and intive them to my Lord and they Have the choice.
wanagj: ok do you see how by defining yourself as a Muslim you’re already separating yourself from the rest of the world that isn’t so, right? This is the point where a human being takes on a belief system as who they are and follow some ‘commands’ instead of simply living as equals in all ways regardless of the belief they’re on – this is the point to take into consideration if you are considering what’s best for humanity – religions = separation
the “law of attraction” is such such obvious crap. — Oh if you focus on something you get it… derrrrr.
@theclewis yep, it is part of the Enslavement process. investigate Desteni where we expose all the craps in this world and practically stand up to correct what’s here based on principles of Equality – of always do what’s best for all.
